Belida (Chilata lopis) is one of the high economic fish species in Indonesia. Belida is widely used as ornamental fish and processed for human consumption. Unfortunately, now, there are four types of belida fish that are protected according to the Decree of the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of the Republic of Indonesia (Kepmen KP) No. 1 of 2021. The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) also stated that the Belida lopis has the status of Extinct (EX) in early 2021. In addition, the technology of belida fish cultivation is still difficult. Related to the sustainability of the cooperation program of PT. Pertamina, entitled Belida Musi Lestari, the SEAFDEC/IFRDMD technical team and BRPPUPP have carried out initial coordination on January 7, 2022 at the Mariana Installation. The technical team, together with experts from Sriwijaya University, monitored and evaluated the success of the belida program in the previous year. In addition, this team prepared a work plan for 2022.
