SEAFDEC/IFRDMD holds an International Class
SEAFDEC/IFRDMD held an International Class, with theme “Aquatic Resources Management” on 13 February 2019 at SEAFDEC Building, Palembang, Indonesia. This activity is hosted by Research Institute for Inland Fishery and Extension, Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Indonesia collaborate with Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC)/Inland Fishery Resources Development and Management Department (IFRDMD).
The International Class is attended by the Director of Center of Research Fisheries, Chief and Deputy Chief of Inland Fishery Resources Development and Management Department (IFRDMD), Prof. Anti Vesamagi from Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, researchers from various institutes, scientists from universities and officers from local government.
Dr. Toni Ruchimat, Director of Center of Research Fisheries, Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries of Indonesia, opened the Class. He welcomed participants, and expressed his utmost appreciation of Research Institute for Inland Fishery and Extension, Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Indonesia collaborated with Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC)/Inland Fishery Resources Development and Management Department (IFRDMD) for assisting the Class. He also addressed that he hoped the International Class would come up with knowledge on aquatic resources management on inland waters in Southeast Asia regions.
Prof. Anti Vesamagi (Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences), Mr. Rendy Ginanjar (Researcher of BRBIH), and Dr. Dina Muthmainnah (Researcher of BRPPUPP and IFRDMD) were invited to deliver the lectures regarding the aquatic resources management that they have done. (#SA)
