SEAFDEC/IFRDMD EXPANDS NETWORK WITH ACADEMIA

Following up on inland fisheries project under JTF VI Phase 2 entitled “Management scheme of inland fisheries in the Southeast Asian region”, SEAFDEC/IFRDMD convened a research survey in 10-13 February 2020 in Riau, Indonesia. The research was aimed to obtain the present status of data and information on inland management.

On this occasion, Dr. Safran Makmur, a researcher form IFRDMD, presented the profile of SEAFDEC/IFRDMD to the academia of Riau University. He also explained the result studies of Indonesia lake biodiversities. Furthermore, the survey team members had discussion and shared about the inland management in Riau, especially Kampar River.
