IFRDMD surveys in Patra Tani, South Sumatra Province

IFRDMD conducted a regular survey in the swamp of Patra Tani Village, Muara Belida Regency, Muara Enim District, South Sumatra Province, on 16-17 March 2022. The team continued to observe the water quality. The observation was conducted every 2 hours for 24 hours. The water quality was recorded to get the trend data and obtain the appropriate step for water usage management.

Besides, the team also organized a meeting with the women who have participated in the fisheries sector in Gedung Buruk Village, Muara Enim Regency. Twelve women shared their experiences and participation in the inland fisheries. This activity aimed to help the women know how to increase their self-potential, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
