IFRDMD Coordinates with the Deputy Secretary of Maritime Resources Coordination

On 23 September 2024, the Chief of IFRDMD, Mr. Andi Soesmono, met with the Acting Deputy Secretary of Maritime Resources Coordination, Ms Aniza Suspita, at the office of the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment of the Republic of Indonesia, Jakarta. This activity aims to convey the importance of paying more attention to the inland fisheries sector, which has been under the spotlight.
During the meeting, IFRDMD expressed the view that greater attention to inland fisheries is essential to support sustainability and better management in the future.
This coordination is an important step to ensure that inland water fisheries receive the attention they deserve in Indonesia’s future maritime and investment policies.
