IFRDMD attends the USAID Southeast Asia Fisheries Partnership: Inception Workshop

The Chief of SEAFDEC/IFRDMD, Mr. Andi Soesmono, along with two members of his staff, attended the USAID Southeast Asia Fisheries Partnership: Inception Workshop, held in Bangkok, Thailand, on 23-24 July 2024. The United States Agency for International Development/Regional Development Mission for Asia (USAID/RMDA) supported the workshop through the USAID Southeast Asia Fisheries Partnership. The workshop was a collaborative effort, aiming to provide an overview of activities, discuss the 5-year work plan, collaborate with partners, identify potential challenges, and develop mitigation measures.
During the workshop, representatives from IFRDMD took an active role in presenting the 5-year work plan and IFRDMD’s interpretation/perspective. The discussion continued with participants’ input to develop the work plan and more detailed views and perspectives.
