IFRDMD Researcher Bags the 2nd Best Paper at the Seminar of 2019 World Water Day

A researcher from SEAFDEC/IFRDMD, Dr. Dina Muthmainnah participated in the Seminar of 2019 World Water Day organized by the Postgraduate Program of Sriwijaya University in Palembang, South Sumatera, Indonesia on 21 March 2019. The theme of seminar was Leaving No One Behind. She presented the research paper as result from study conducted  in Lao PDR, entitled “Developing Habitat Conservation in Nam Xouang Reservoir, Lao PDR.” She wrote the paper with Mr. Aroef Hukmanan Rais also from SEAFDEC/IFRDMD and Ms. Dongdavanh Sibouthong from the Fisheries Division, Department of Livestock and Fisheries Lao PDR. There were four keynote speakers who were concerned about water conservation, climate change and keeping the natural water resources. In the closed session of the Seminar, the committee announced the best paper and the best speaker, and Dr. Dina Muthmainnah got the second place of the best paper. (SA)
