IFRDMD organized the Meeting on SEAFDEC/IFRDMD Achievements and Preparation of JTF 7 Projects in line with the MMAF Program on 20 June 2024 in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Meeting aims to review the SEAFDEC/IFRDMD program and the achievements of the ongoing activity budgeted by JTF 6 Phase. Besides, the staff of IFRDMD consulted and discussed the activity of JTF 7 that can be in line with the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, Republic of Indonesia. The meeting was chaired by the Chief of IFRDMD, Mr. Andi Soesmono. The meeting was attended by 19 male and eight female staff from the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries and IFRDMD.
The briefing and view were given by the Chairman of the Agency for Extension and Human Resources Development of Marine and Fisheries, who also serves as by the SEAFDEC Alternate Council Director for Indonesia, Dr. I Nyoman Radiarta, and the Deputy Secretary of the Agency for Extension and Human Resources Development of Marine and Fisheries, Dr. Rudi Alek Wahyudin. They shared valuable insights and perspectives. Additionally, the Agency for Extension and Human Resources Development staff of Marine and Fisheries contributed their thoughts and suggestions, enriching the discussion.
Dr Nyoman provided direction and encouraged IFRDMD to be able to prepare a publication of 10-year achievements that is informative and easily understood by stakeholders and the public, and increase the involvement of partners and stakeholders in future implementation.
